All About Air Plants

Air Plants belong to the diverse Bromeliad family. Air Plants actually get all the nutrients and water they need to survive from the air, hence, the name Air Plants.
Air Plants require no soil making them incredibly low maintenance and easy to care for . They are an epiphyte, meaning they attach themselves to trees, rocks, fences etc. In recent trends, many people attach them to sea shells and urchin shells making them a beautiful decorative piece.
They require very little care besides the occasional misting once or twice a week (less frequently if you have them in a humid area of your home such as a bathroom)
Due to the minimal care they require they make a great addition to any home or office space and can easily withstand a little neglect should you forget about them. Not to mention they're just so stinkin cute!
